Cannondale SuperSlice 2026: Everything We Know About the New Aero Tri Bike

Cannondale unveiled the third-generation SuperSlice on 17 February 2026, calling it “the fastest time trial bike we’ve ever made.” It’s a frameset-only launch for now, aimed squarely at time trial and long-course triathlon racing. Here’s everything confirmed so far.

What’s New

  • Aero gain: Cannondale claims a 14% drag reduction, worth roughly 10 watts at 50km/h, versus the previous-generation SuperSlice.
  • Price: the LAB71 carbon frameset is priced at £6,995 / $6,999 / €6,999 — frameset only, no complete-bike pricing has been published yet.
  • Weight: the frame is reported to be around 60g heavier than the previous Hi-MOD frameset, a trade-off Cannondale attributes to the aero redesign.
  • Compatibility: tyre clearance now goes up to 32mm, and the rear dropout uses a UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) standard, with a threaded BSA bottom bracket and flat-mount disc brakes. It’s electronic-groupset only (SRAM or Shimano).

Built for Triathletes

The SuperSlice is designed to work with Vision’s Metron front and Trimax rear hydration and storage systems, which matters for anyone racing 70.3 or full-distance without a support crew. Geometry is adjustable across pad stack (±100mm), reach (±120mm), extension angle (0-30°) and seat angle (74-77°), and the frame is offered in XS, S, M and L sizes.

Price and UK Availability

As of publication, the SuperSlice isn’t yet listed on Tredz or other major UK cycling retailers we checked, and Cannondale hasn’t published complete-bike pricing — only the £6,995 LAB71 frameset. We’ll update this post once UK stock and build pricing are confirmed.
