WTCS Yokohama 2026 Results: Hauser and Månsson Claim Stunning Victories

Matt Hauser and Tilda Månsson delivered the headline performances at the 2026 World Triathlon Championship Series Yokohama on 16 May. Australia’s defending WTCS champion Hauser powered to a commanding men’s victory, while Sweden’s Månsson upset the pre-race favourites with a stunning sprint finish in the women’s race.

Men’s Race

Hauser executed a tactical masterclass to claim his second WTCS win of the season, crossing in 1:38:48 — 20 seconds clear of Brazil’s Miguel Hidalgo (1:39:08). Australia’s Luke Willian completed the podium in 1:39:16. Norway’s Vetle Bergsvik Thorn took fourth in 1:39:21, with Great Britain’s Alex Yee fifth in 1:39:32 on his return to WTCS Olympic-distance racing after his early T100 campaign.

Månsson crossed in 1:50:13 to Potter’s 1:50:15. Luxembourg’s Jeanne Lehair completed the podium in 1:50:36, with Germany’s Lisa Tertsch fourth (1:51:02) and France’s Emma Lombardi fifth (1:51:05).
