Great Britain’s Georgia Taylor-Brown claimed her first T100 World Tour victory at the Spain round in Pamplona on 24 May, running down Switzerland’s Julie Derron in the closing kilometres to win in 3:38:03. Taylor Spivey of the USA completed the podium.

Derron led on the bike and into the run, but Taylor-Brown’s superior running prowess told in the heat of the Spanish afternoon. The British star surged past on the final loop to take the win by 1:20, breaking through after four previous T100 attempts where her best had been second.
