IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2026 Results: Wilde Wins as Knibb Breaks Course Record
Hayden Wilde held off a fast-finishing Kristian Blummenfelt to win the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, while Taylor Knibb broke the course record to claim her fourth world title in the women’s race.
Men’s Race
Kristian Blummenfelt exited T2 in 16th place, more than two and a half minutes down on the leaders, then produced a 1:05:12 half-marathon split to close the gap all the way back to Wilde, finishing just 18 seconds short at the line. Jelle Geens, the reigning champion chasing a third straight title, took third with the second-fastest run split of the day, 1:07:12.
