The 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour season launched in spectacular fashion at Marina Bay, Singapore on 25–26 April. Defending champion Hayden Wilde put on the most dominant display in T100 history on Saturday, while Kate Waugh shattered the women’s course record on Sunday to give Great Britain a historic double at the season opener.
Men’s Race: Wilde Obliterates the Field
Hayden Wilde (NZL) crossed the line in 3:21:58 — a full 6 minutes and 21 seconds ahead of Britain’s Sam Dickinson in second place, with Germany’s Mika Noodt taking third. It is the largest winning margin ever recorded in a men’s T100 race and Wilde’s seventh win from eight starts in the format. Wilde took the lead on the first bike loop and went further and further clear throughout the race. Matt Hauser (AUS), making his eagerly anticipated T100 debut after transitioning from sprint racing, delivered a creditable fifth-place finish.
Women’s Race: Waugh Sets a New T100 Record
Kate Waugh (GBR) produced a stunning record-breaking performance on Sunday, winning the women’s race by 6 minutes and 41 seconds — a new T100 women’s course record margin.
