T100 San Francisco 2026 Results: Bogen Defends, Derron Stuns Knibb
San Francisco delivered two thrilling T100 races over race weekend, with Rico Bogen defending his title on the legendary Escape From Alcatraz course and Julie Derron producing a stunning run to claim her first career T100 win — ending Taylor Knibb’s unbeaten streak in the process.
Men’s Race: Bogen Defends in Style
The German powerhouse Rico Bogen backed up his 2025 San Francisco victory with another commanding display, posting a 1:54:50 bike split that set the platform for his win. Belgium’s Jelle Geens took second with Germany’s Mika Noodt in third — all three having raced here before and knowing the iconic Alcatraz course inside out. With Hayden Wilde absent, Bogen seized the opportunity to strengthen his T100 season rankings.

Women’s Race: Derron Ends Knibb’s Streak
Julie Derron produced a race for the ages. The Swiss athlete — Olympic silver medallist from Paris 2024 — clocked a 1:06:37 run split that proved decisive, catching Taylor Knibb around the 3km mark and pulling away to win in 3:38:46. Knibb, who had been unstoppable in T100 before this race, finished 2:05 back in second, with Kate Waugh — who herself had won in Singapore just weeks earlier — rounding out the podium in third.

What’s Next on the T100 Tour
The T100 Triathlon World Tour moves to Vancouver in August for the women’s event, with the Qatar World Championship Final in December settling the overall title. With Derron now a winner, Waugh a two-time victor this season, and Knibb hungry for a response, the women’s title race is wide open. On the men’s side, Bogen and Wilde will resume their rivalry later in the season.
