What the manufacturer and retailers list
- Pressure: 160 psi (11 bar) maximum on the gauge.
- Gauge: digital, mid-mounted, 37 mm readout, powered by a CR2032 battery, with psi, bar and kg/cm² units.
- Head: Topeak’s DX5 hammerhead chuck for Presta and Schrader valves.
- Hose: 74 cm, per BikeRadar.
- Weight: 1,826 g.
- Handle: dual-density polymer handle.
Specs are taken from BikeRadar’s review and retailer listings. BikeRadar liked the readable mid-mounted gauge and its precision, and called changing the battery a niggle because it needs an Allen key. We link to their review rather than quote it: BikeRadar’s Topeak JoeBlow Sport Digital review.
Where it fits a triathlete’s training
The points below are our reading of the listed specs, not test results.
- Race-day tyre pressure. A digital gauge makes it easier to hit the same pressure each time before a race or key session.
- Tubeless and tubed road tyres. 160 psi covers road tyre pressures with room to spare.
- Home use. At 1.8 kg it is a workshop pump, not one to pack for travel; for that see our mini pump and CO2 inflator guide.
- Price. £42.99 at Tredz is £37 below the listed RRP of £79.99.
