What the retailer lists
- Fit system: Roc Loc 5 Air Mips, adjustable with one hand for tension and fore-aft tilt.
- Construction: a polycarbonate outer shell fused to the EPS foam liner (Giro calls this in-mold construction), with a two-piece shell.
- Rotational protection: Giro’s integrated Mips, which Giro says is designed to reduce rotational forces in certain angled impacts.
- Ventilation: Giro’s Wind Tunnel system, with vents in the shell and exhaust channels inside the helmet.
- Odour control: IONIC+ pads treated with silver.
- Sizes: Tredz lists several sizes; check Giro’s size guide and measure your head before ordering.
Where it fits a triathlete’s kit bag
The points below are our reading of the listed specs, not test results.
- Training and sportive rides. This is a vented road helmet, not an aero or time-trial design, so it suits everyday riding rather than a flat bike leg.
- Price. Tredz shows a price range across sizes, starting at the figure above, against a listed RRP of £139.99.
- Fit. Helmet comfort is personal and we have not worn this one. Try it against the helmet you use now if you can.
