Garmin Enduro 4 Release Date, Leaks & Specs (Updated Oct 2026)

Updated 8 October 2026: Garmin announced the Enduro 4 on 6 October 2026. This page was a preview until today and is now a launch guide built from Garmin’s own press release and UK product page. We have not tested the watch yet, so there is no verdict here; we will add one after hands-on time.

Garmin Enduro 4 price and release date

Garmin lists the Enduro 4 on its UK site at £799.99. The US price is $899.99. It is a single 51mm model; Garmin’s release names no other sizes or variants. No UK retailer we track has listed it yet, and Tredz still stocks only the Enduro 3.

Battery: up to 90 days in smartwatch mode and up to 320 hours in activity mode with solar charging. Garmin’s figures assume 50,000 lux sunlight (3 hours a day outdoors for the smartwatch figure), so expect less in a British winter
Display: 1.4-inch MIP with a Power Sapphire solar lens
Case: 51mm fibre-reinforced polymer with a titanium bezel, 66g, 10 ATM water resistance
Storage: 64GB, with 50% more RAM than the Enduro 3 and map panning Garmin says is 30% faster
Light: built-in LED flashlight with white and red modes
Strap: new ComfortFit fabric band on a QuickFit mount
Power modes: Max Accuracy and Max Battery presets
Software: grade-adjusted pace targets and rolling pace, Stamina Zones and Stamina Curve, routable maps with perspective view, Garmin Epic multi-day activity logging, rowing VO2 max and power curve, ruck tracking, 100+ activity profiles

Garmin’s release does not list the sensor suite, so we are not repeating any claim about GPS bands or the heart-rate sensor until Garmin’s spec page or a tested review confirms it.

Garmin Enduro 4 vs Enduro 3

On the headline battery numbers the Enduro 4 matches what Garmin quotes for the Enduro 3 (90 days smartwatch, 320 hours activity with solar). The changes Garmin announces are 64GB of storage, more RAM, faster maps, the flashlight, the new strap and a set of training features. The Enduro 4 weighs 66g against the Enduro 3’s 63g and costs £799.99 on Garmin UK against £699.99 for the Enduro 3 at Tredz today.

If you mainly want the battery, the Enduro 3 still delivers the same quoted figures for £100 less. If the new training features or the extra storage matter to you, the Enduro 4 is the one to wait for stock on.

Is the Enduro 4 for triathletes?

The Enduro line suits long-course racers and ultra athletes who want a watch that lasts weeks, not days. Garmin’s release lists no new triathlon-specific feature, and we have not checked how the Enduro 4 handles open-water swim tracking or multisport mode. We will cover both in the review.
