The points below are our reading of the listed specs, not test results.

  • Near-freezing mornings. The listed 0 to 4°C range puts these at the cold end of the glove drawer. Below that, expect to want something thicker.
  • Wet rides. A waterproof fabric is the selling point here. Waterproof gloves can also feel warm and damp on a hard effort, which we cannot judge without testing.
  • Handling. Gear changes and brake levers are the test for any winter glove, and we have not tried these.
  • Phone use. The palm is listed as smartphone compatible. Check it against your own phone and case.
