WTCS Quiberon 2026 Race Results: Coninx and Beaugrand Shine on French Soil
Dorian Coninx claimed a memorable victory at WTCS Quiberon 2026, his first World Triathlon Championship Series win in almost three years, while Cassandre Beaugrand extended her dominant form with a commanding women’s victory on French soil. The sprint-distance race on 20 June 2026 provided high drama — none more so than Vasco Vilaça slipping on the final corner of the run, gifting second place to Coninx’s compatriot Ricardo Batista.
Men’s Race: Coninx Ends the Wait
Coninx produced a vintage performance to take the win in dramatic fashion. Vilaça led into the final straight but slipped on a corner, allowing Coninx to surge past for the win. Batista, also Portuguese, grabbed second in the melee, with Vilaça recovering to third.
