What the retailer lists
- Material: neoprene construction with a welded asymmetric seam, which Endura says gives waterproofing and a smooth fit.
- Closure: an offset rear zip with a snap-down puller and a zip guard.
- Details: a crank rub protection print, reflective rear zip tape and aramid-thread stitching.
- Colours: black and hi-viz yellow.
- Sizing: S (UK 5 to 6.5), M (UK 7 to 8.5), L (UK 9 to 10.5), XL (UK 11 to 12.5) and XXL (UK 13 to 14.5). The size chart is for clipless-compatible overshoes, and Tredz notes that some users find sizing up one size gives a better fit.
Where it fits for triathletes
The points below are our reading of the listed features, not test results.
- Wet winter rides. Neoprene insulates and sheds rain, which suits long base-season rides on the road bike.
- Dark mornings. The reflective tape on the rear zip adds a little visibility at the back of the foot.
- Not a race item. Overshoes like these are for training in the cold and wet, not for a race bike with aero shoe covers.
- Price. At £31.99 it is £5.00 below the RRP.
