What the manufacturer and retailers list

  • Fabric: listings give 54% nylon, 33% polyester and 13% elastane, a thermal fabric with a PFC-free water-resistant treatment on the shin, calf and seat.
  • Pad: Endura’s 600 Series pad, described as a high-stretch pad with gel inserts and an antibacterial finish.
  • Pockets and support: mesh cargo pockets on the thighs, lumbar support panels and power straps on the shoulders.
  • Size and weight: a 72 cm inseam in size M and a quoted guide weight of 490 g.

Specs are taken from Endura’s product listing and the road.cc review page, which we link to without quoting. Check the Tredz page for the current sizes.

Where it fits a triathlete’s training

The points below are our reading of the listed specs, not test results.

  • Cold-weather road and gravel rides. A thermal fabric with a water-resistant finish suits the wet, cold rides that fill the off-season.
  • Long rides without a jersey pocket. The thigh pockets hold a spare tube, a gel or a phone, which helps on rides where you want a minimal kit.
  • Not a race-day garment. It is a winter training tight, not an aero one. For a lighter-weight option see our review of the Endura Pro SL bib tights II.
