What the manufacturer and retailers list
- Width: 132 mm, as the name says.
- Weight: retailers list a padded weight of about 100 g, with a ±5 g tolerance. Merlin Cycles quotes 102 g and other listings quote 98 g, so treat it as roughly 100 g.
- Shell: carbon, with padding. Listings say the Lupina family uses Innegra fibre in the shell for a small amount of flex.
- Rails: oval 7 x 9 mm.
- Rider limit: listings give a maximum rider weight of 100 kg.
- Length: listings disagree on the length of this model, so check the Tredz page before comparing it with your current saddle.
Who it suits
The points below are our reading of the listed specs, not test results.
- Weight-focused road and time-trial builds. At about 100 g it is far lighter than a typical training saddle, which matters most on a bike where every gram has been chased.
- Riders under 100 kg. The rider limit is part of the spec, not a footnote. Heavier riders should look elsewhere.
- Not a long-distance comfort pick on paper. A thinly padded, narrow carbon saddle suits some positions and not others, and saddle comfort is personal. Try a similar width first if you can.
- Price. At £299.99 with no discount shown, it costs several times a standard saddle.
