Olympic champion Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR) crossed the line in 3:30:25, powered by an exceptional run split of 1:06:39 — a new course best at Geelong. Jelle Geens (BEL) followed in 3:31:23 for second, while Hayden Wilde (NZL) completed the podium in 3:31:51.

Tamara Jewett (CAN) completed the women’s podium in 4:15:26.

Season Implications
For Kristian Blummenfelt, Geelong confirms he remains the dominant force in 70.3 racing when he lines up on the half-distance circuit. For Kat Matthews, back-to-back wins at IRONMAN NZ and Geelong signals that 2026 is shaping up to be her strongest season yet. Up next on the international calendar is IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside in the USA (March 28) and the WTCS season opener in Samarkand (April 26), as the global triathlon season continues to build momentum.
