What the retailer lists
- Fit: a high instep and 4 mm of extra width across the ball of the foot compared with regular Sidi sizing, modelled on an EE to EEE last.
- Sole: a carbon and nylon Aerolite sole that Sidi describes as stiff yet forgiving.
- Closure: one Tecno-3 dial with Dyneema cord, plus the Firmor Closure, a soft fabric strap for lateral support.
- Upper: Politex Matt.
- Heel: a replaceable anti-slip heel pad.
- Range: also made in women’s-specific and regular unisex fits.
Where it fits for triathletes
The points below are our reading of the listed features, not test results.
- Broad feet. Sidi aims it at riders who find regular road shoes narrow, in training or on all-day rides. We have not tested the fit.
- Road, not triathlon. It closes with a dial and a strap, so it is not built for quick transitions like a dedicated triathlon shoe.
- Price. At £90.00 it is £85.00 below the RRP.
