Colnago TT2 2026: Pogačar’s New Time Trial Bike, and What It Means for Triathletes
What’s New
Colnago has launched the TT2, a new time trial bike built directly for Tadej Pogačar’s Tour de France TT ambitions, ahead of a late-September 2026 release. It’s a road-race TT platform rather than a triathlon-specific bike, but the storage, aero and fit tech on show tends to filter down into triathlon-focused frames over time, which is why it’s worth tracking even if you’re not shopping for a UCI road TT bike.
Key Specs
- Weight — the size S frame kit is a claimed 2,240g, down 545g from the outgoing TT1’s 2,785g. Complete builds can hit the UCI’s 6.8kg minimum.
- Aero — Colnago claims roughly 2 watts less drag via a slimmer head tube, narrower bars and a redesigned fork.
- Tyre clearance — up to 30mm on a wide rim, up from 28mm on the TT1.
- Fit range — four sizes (XS, S, M, L) with revised geometry aimed at fitting a wider range of riders than the outgoing bike.
- Drivetrain — 2x-compatible with a BSA bottom bracket, and enough clearance to run a 1x setup with up to a 70-tooth chainring.
- Storage — an integrated Aero Bottle system using Fidlock magnetic attachment.
Price and Availability
The frameset — frame, fork, integrated cockpit, seatpost and the Aero Bottle system — is priced at £6,499 / €7,040 / $7,500, available from late September 2026. Not yet stocked by Tredz or any other retailer we track at the time of writing, so there’s no affiliate link to offer here.
